Your number is your member card
At an Alfamart till, you show the member card in Alfagift or give your number, and the purchase earns points on your account. In the app the same account holds vouchers, stamps and your order history.
That is convenient for a number you keep for years, which is how most Indonesians use their mobile. It is a poor fit for a number that will stop working next week.

Indonesian SIM registration
In Indonesia, prepaid SIM cards are registered against the owner's national identity number, and there are limits on how many a person can register. Local apps, Alfagift included, are built on the assumption that a number belongs to one person.
Visitors can buy registered tourist SIMs. If you are staying for a while, that is the practical way to use local apps.
Delivery and pickup
Orders placed in Alfagift are prepared by a nearby Alfamart and delivered or collected. The store or courier may contact you about substitutions or delivery, so the number on the account should be one you can answer while the order is active.
One account for the till and the app
Alfagift joins two ways of shopping. In store, the member card earns points and unlocks member prices at the till. Online, the same account places orders that a nearby store prepares, with prices and promotions that can differ from the shelf. Points from both end up in one balance.
That is why the account is worth keeping on one number. Moving between numbers splits your history, and a number you lose takes its points with it until customer service moves them back.
Points and vouchers
Points and vouchers have conditions and expiry dates, shown in the app. They belong to the member account. Creating extra accounts with other numbers to collect new-member vouchers breaks the programme's terms, and we do not support using our numbers for it.
OTP and voucher scams
Scammers send messages about big Alfamart vouchers or prizes with links to fake pages, or call pretending to be staff and ask for the OTP "to send your prize". The OTP signs them in to your account, including points and any saved payment methods. Alfamart staff do not need your OTP. Check offers inside the app.
Changing your number
If you change numbers, update the account while the old number still works, so your points follow. If the old number is gone, contact Alfagift customer service through the app and be ready to confirm your details.

When the code does not arrive
In order of how often each one is the real cause:
- The OTP did not arrive
Check the number and signal, wait and request again. Indonesian numbers work most reliably. - Points are missing after a purchase
Check that the member card was scanned, then contact customer service with the receipt. - A voucher will not apply
Check its conditions and expiry in the app. - Someone asks for your OTP for a prize
Refuse. It is a scam. - You changed numbers
