Why FreeSmsOtp

Built like infrastructure, priced like a shop

Seven suppliers behind one checkout. We pick the route with the best measured delivery, you see one honest price.

Automatic routing

Every order is scored across all suppliers on live stock, measured success and price, then bought from the best one. A dead route is dropped before you ever see it.

Pay on delivery only

The price is held on your balance, not taken. No SMS within the time limit — or you cancel — and the hold is released automatically, to the cent.

Measured, not promised

Delivery rates on this site come from our own orders, with the sample size next to them. Below 100 orders we say “collecting data” instead of inventing a number.

Yours alone

For the whole activation the number belongs to you and nobody else can read its messages — unlike the public numbers listed on free sites.

207 countries

From the big markets to the long tail. Prices differ per country because supplier costs do; the table always shows the real one.

Seconds, not minutes

The waiting screen updates by itself the moment an SMS lands. Need longer? Extend the wait twice, at no extra cost.

How it works

Three steps, about a minute

Pick app and country

Pick the app you are verifying and a country. Each country shows its price and, where we have enough data, the share of orders that received a code.

Use the number

Enter the number in the app exactly as shown. Keep our page open — there is nothing to install.

Read the code

Read the code on your order page, usually within seconds. Only then is your balance charged.

Pricing

One honest price, only for a code that arrives

No plans, no seats, no monthly fee. Top up any amount from $5 and spend it on any app, in any country.

Per activation

from $4.01

Supplier cost plus a flat $4.00 — our margin never grows because a route is expensive.

Top up with

PayPal or crypto

Balance never expires. Could not receive any SMS? Your unused PayPal balance can go back — refund policy.

Who it is for

One number when you need it, none when you don't

Keep your own number private

Sign up for marketplaces, dating and delivery apps without handing out the number your bank and family use.

Travel and relocation

Verify a local ride-hailing, food or banking app in the country you are in, before you have a local SIM.

Developers and QA

Test your own product's SMS sign-up and one-time-code flows end to end on real carrier numbers.

Freelancers and small teams

Keep business accounts on platforms separate from your personal phone, one verified account at a time.

Bulk account creation, fraud and evading bans are not allowed — acceptable use.

Free vs private

Why a private number gets through

We run a small pool of free public numbers too — and we are honest about what they can do.

In plain words

What an SMS verification number actually does

When an app asks for a phone number, it sends a one-time code to that number and waits for you to type it back. A verification number is a real mobile number we rent for a single activation: it can receive that code, you read it here, and then the number goes back to the supplier. It is not a SIM you keep, and it is not a way to log in again later — for that, add an authenticator app to the account.

Why the price differs per country

Numbers cost us different amounts depending on the operator, the country and the app being verified. We add a fixed $4.00 to our cost, so the margin never grows just because a route is expensive. What you see in the table is the whole price; there is no fee at checkout and no subscription.

Why some codes never arrive

The app decides whether to send at all. Large messengers score the number range, your device and how often codes were requested before, and quietly refuse rather than explain. That is exactly why nothing is charged unless the SMS lands, and why the country tables show measured delivery instead of marketing claims.

  • Enter the number exactly as shown, with the country code and no leading zero.
  • Ask for the SMS option, not a voice call — a verification number cannot take calls.
  • If nothing arrives, cancel and try another country; the rate next to each one shows where it works.

Questions

Everything people ask before the first order

When am I charged?

Only when a code arrives. Placing an order holds the price on your balance; if no SMS comes within the time limit, or you cancel after the minimum wait, the hold is released in full.

Can I reuse the number later?

No. An activation covers one code. If the account may ask for a code again, keep your own number on it or add an authenticator app.

Which apps work best?

Each app page lists the countries where we have stock and, once there is enough data, the measured share of orders that received a code.

How do I pay?

You top up a balance with PayPal, card or crypto, and orders draw from it. Unused balance stays yours.

Is this legal?

Receiving your own verification codes is. Using our numbers for fraud, spam or evading a ban is not — see the acceptable use policy.

What data do you keep?

The order, the number and the messages it received during your activation. Message text is erased after 30 days; see the privacy policy.

Are these real phone numbers?

Yes. Every number is a real mobile number from an operator in the country you choose, rented for one activation — not a VoIP number made up for the purpose.

What is the difference from free receive-SMS sites?

Free sites publish every message on a public page, so anyone can read your code and big apps block those numbers quickly. Our numbers are private for the whole activation.
