A new Bilibili account starts with a phone number and a code — or with sign-in through another app, which still leads to binding a phone. That gives you an account that can watch, follow creators, like and save videos.

To take full part — posting danmaku comments freely, commenting widely — accounts become full members by passing a quiz on community rules and general topics.
